| After getting the TV set up and figuring out how to use it, we enjoyed 2 nights of watching high def tv, then the screen went dark. The company I was directed to for service could not come for a week. We decided to haul it ourselves to another authorized service center. We had to pick it up and then set it up again. It was a bit discouraging, hope it's not the beginning of a trend. It looks great....for today... |
Quality 2nd TV

I picked up this TV for my bedroom, so it is not my primary TV. I have only had it a month, but all is well. Very clear picture for HD channels and surprisingly good picture on the non-HD channels. I also like the feature that automatically spreads non-HD channels across the entire TV vs. having the black bars on the side. Definitely a good price for quality TV. Hopefully it will hold up for the long haul, but given that it is a Samsung, my guess is that it should hold up (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself).

| I work at Bestbuy so I asked everyone I knew there what is the best brand for a television. 100% agreed that Samsung is the A+ brand. TV's aren't cheap, so if I'm gonna spend all this money, I want the best and that's Samsung. The tv arrived with the stand already built, so that was nice. Then after attaching the tv to the stand I got set-up with adding my new blu-ray player and HD DVR with two HDMI cables. This is the best picture quality every!!! There is no way I could be happier, I love this TV! |

BROKE JUST OUT OF WARRENTY

Caution! Do not buy Samsung. I bought a 40inch LCD, and it broke just over a year after purchase. Samsung knows the issue. They all have this same problem. The authorize service repair person charges 230 to replace the part. They also say "samsung is aware of this faulty part but does not replace them or change the way they make the TV." Happily the service person stated "I fix this same problem all the time." Samsung will not extend the warranty for this part. The part tends to break just after a year. The picture was great, but expect it to break in a year.
Look it up online-the complaint is all over. TV chimes on and off but will not turn on. |

| I ordered this for my in-laws for Christmas and it arrived in plenty of time. It was very easy to set up and program and easily connected to their DVD player and satellite box. This set has good quality sound and is very responsive and has a clear and crisp picture. Control menus and picture adjustments are intuitive with on-screen icons that can easily be followed to get where you want to be. The remote control is easy to see and easy to use even for those more mature in age. We were able to teach my in-laws how to change channels, switch between antenna and satellite, and adjust the picture in under 15 minutes. This is a very good value. |

This is a great tv for a bedroom, sound isnt that great but for that price u cant go wrong. picture is ok also, one thing I did notice is that tvs always come with that info sticker on the side of the tv letting u know all the spec's it has, my tv didnt come with that sticker. I dont think its a big deal everything looks new. Over all its a great tv for a really good price. If anyone else was missing the info sticker please comment back just wanna make sure I got a new set.

Since I am a lover of Samsung products in general, especially with regard to television: rimangpo increasingly fascinated by the colors that Samsung managed to bring into our homes (not If it is the first house to have commercialize new televisions LED …)
We leave the design of the product in full “samsung-Style”, designed with a few strokes, but well defined and elegant. Classic dark frame that integrates well with any style and décor, we have at home.
The format of the screen is the now widespread 16:9, with a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 Pixel FullHD, to enjoy fully with the new SKY channels or watching a film “Blu-Ray” …
The colors are brilliant, very bright thanks to the contrast that Samsung brings in his … television images are sharp, well-defined signal that the TV does not lose anything in the process of projecting a video image, which not all can do because the contours of the digital writing (eg writing flowing down, evidence of the tail of the films), does not lose quality and are always sharp and marked by case, benleggibili to any distance we are.
The speakers can recreate at least surround effect, although it is unthinkable that we can recreate the same effect achieved with the most modern systems Teathre Home. ” In any case, even raising the volume a lot, there is no noise, a sign the excellent quality of Samsung.
The TV only has one small flaw: a refresh rate of 50Hz only (ie in a second the image is redrawn 50 times, an image every 0.020 seconds), when we are marketing models that are able to go to 100Hz …
